Katrina Kaif's new item number name as 'Chikni Chameli' in Karan Johar's upcoming production name 'Agneepath', is actually a copy of peppy Marathi dance number (Kombadi palali) from a 2006 Marathi film name'Jatra' famous marathi actor Bharat Jadav in the lead.
The unique Marathi song Kombadi palali was consisting by the friends Atul and Ajay Gogavale and is still performed at joyful instances.
While Katrina refused to comment on her item number, a source said, "When katrina anniversary passes observed the music she was offered away. She instantly began swaying to the cycle. It's that different."
The brief given to composers Atul-Ajay and choreographer Ganesh Acharya was easy. "Make it more swaying than the unique," said the resource.
Atul Gogavale says about this item number, "Yes, 'Chikni Chameli' is a Hindi version of our Marathi song Kombadi Palali. We had to make this Hindi version even more better and enjoyable.
Shreya Ghosal has sung this item number in her signature soft style, and people seems to like this. Though we are known for our lavani songs, but 'Chikni Chameli' is not lavani number." its a kind of racking..
After eight days of dancing under Ganesh Acharya's supervision, Katrina, we are told, is unable to move a limb. Says a friend of the actress, "She has taken three days leave to recover before she resumes shooting for 'Ek Tha Tiger'. Katrina did fanatastic job, not waiting for review.
